Okinawa Goju-Ryu Karate Do Berlin e.V. organized its first Tensho Kata Seminar on 24.05.2025, which was conducted by Sensei Prof. Dr. Filipe de Castro Soeiro. The seminar focused on REN and DU Meridian Systems and its macro role within the twelve meridians subsystem, their respective Yin and Yang energy polarity and related element source. The study and practice of techniques of breathing, tension and relaxation of structural elements and movement of the Tensho Kata, biomechanics and tensiometry were also included. Finally the was on
an intense set of two- partner drill bunkai applications and Kaki-e as part of Okinawa framework. which included at least three levels: basic, intermediate and advanced. After a one-hour break for lunch we continued with bunkai applications and finalized with great and intense Kaki-e session.
The seminar course is officially recognized by DKV as a professional training measure (Weiterbildungsmaßnahme) for the extension of Trainer C/B licenses in the amount of 5 LE.
